Operating remotely and from a home studio in Aberdeen, Scotland, RYZY provides songwriting, recording, session playing, production, mixing, and mastering across a growing range of creative projects and collaborations.

Live
With roots spanning electronic music, live performance, songwriting, and studio production, Ryan Mackay (RYZY) has spent the last decade working across a wide range of creative projects - from international DJ performances and festival appearances to live touring, session work, songwriting, and independent production.
Past work has included releases with labels such as Strange Fruits and Future House Cloud, support from major artists, and recognition from platforms including Mixcloud, Ibiza Club News, STV, and BBC Scotland.
Alongside his solo work, Ryan currently performs bass with Kyle Falconer and continues to collaborate across live performance, songwriting, production, and creative direction through RYZY Records and other evolving projects.

RYZY Records collaborates across songwriting, production, live performance, session work, and creative development - working both remotely and from a home studio based in Aberdeen, Scotland.
With experience spanning both live and studio environments, projects can move fluidly from initial idea through to recording, production, mixing, and final release while maintaining a strong focus on originality and creative direction.
Whether contributing as a writer, producer, session musician, or collaborator, the approach remains centred around honest creativity, strong communication, and building projects with long-term intention.
